how much I play. Since I was going through them so fast, I decided to try out some rechargeable batteries. Unfortunately, the battery power doesn't seem to get a full charge, and the drum controller will go out on you in the middle of the song, thus messing you up on your 100% score that you were going after. It would have been nice if they added an optional USB port that you could plug into the console to power the device.
Secondly, I feel that if I am paying $2.00 for the song download on my XBOX 360, then it should also be able to as an mp3 download as well that I could put onto my portable music player. Not only would it help to get the artists songs stuck in the listeners head, but it would make them want to go back and play the game even more, and it brings more attention to some of the older artists to a younger crowd, thus possibly increasing their sales on other pay per song sites, such as iTunes or the Amazon Music Store.
In the end, I decided to purchase an XBOX 360, since I could find it online used for $150. Then I bought the Rock Band 2 game and got a hold of the Rock Band 1 disc and exported those songs to my hard drive. Now I had about 200 songs to play with. The third plus is that all of my friends have an XBOX 360, and I can now play Rock Band and other games that are available on the XBOX 360 online with my friends, granted I have to pay the $50 online fee every year.
