Where has all the time gone

it seems like just yesterday

when you stood out in my doorway

you were stunning and took my breath away

but then I blinked my eyes

and to my surprise

here we are today

so many years later

and the thing is that is so amazing

is that I love you so much greater

than I ever did way back then

I know that I didn't show it

the way I loved you from the start

but I really must admit

that this love deep inside my heart

overwhelmed me, made me crazy

in love with you

everything is clear now

no more is it hazy

because I'm still so in love with you

I spent years afraid that I felt paralyzed

I ran from you for what seemed to be forever

but then one day I realized

that my love only grew stronger

as the days turned into years

now the pain inside is no longer there

laughter replaced all of my tears

and forgiveness replaced all of my fears

thank you for showing me unconditional, true, unfailing love

I thank God above

for bringing you to me

and saving my life

Falling in love with me

and making me your wife

I love you my love

forever and a day

and I am yours now

and into all of eternity!
