Pets are the most trusting animals. I have learned to live my life with a dog. There has been some problems, but in the middle of it all a solution. Caring and Trusting. He not only became a loving dog but, my favorite dog in the whole wide world. He has learned a lot about living with me too. One of the things that I did not know about was that he understood me better than anyone.

It was as though he could read my feelings. Although he did not understand every word I said, my expressions revealed if my feelings. When I was happy, my dog would be giddy. When I was sad, he could comfort me by licking. In a way he knew me better than any other person. A normal person would not read my feelings as my dog did.

It is funny, because he became my best friend. This best friend understood me better. He would not cheat on me nor would he get angry with me. If I gave him my love, he would give his love back. I told him secrets and he would look at me with his black eyes knowingly. What more of a friend could you ask for? In some way it is like I needed him as well. Without that space filled in my heart, it would have be a dreary place.

Think about it. As my mom said, "They have a sixth sense" Its wierd because it feels also as if the dog chooses you. Like when you walk to the pet store, for some strange reason there is just this puppy or dog that plays with you. Right off the bat you start having this attraction, this care for the puppy. That is what happened to me.

Believe me when I say this, animals know people a lot better than they think. Just give them your heart and they will give it back to you. Show them you care so that they may care for you as well. Animals can love you and not only because of food. It is because you care for them so much, and that shows in your hand gestures and facial expressions as well.

A movie once said that if you were in front of a lion the best chance of surviving was by standing brave in front of it. In that moment the lion would not eat you, but would walk away defeated. So remember, stand brave and for pets the important thing is caring about them.

By the way, owning an animal is worthwhile. If you think that no one is caring about you, think again. Whatever pet you own cares for you too, even if you dont know it. The one way I know that if my pet loves me if he wags his tail and throw the devilish smile at me. Youll get to love pets too, just wait and see.
