Lost love for lust:

(chorus)

Burning in her memory. The choices she had made.

She couldn't let the lust retire. She allowed it to invade.

Now she's left so empty. She never will forget.

Once so filled with turmoil. Now it's all regret.

(verse 1)

Within her was a struggle. Too difficult to bare.

Loving so her family. Yet lust was always there.

So innocent it started. They shared a drink or two.

Lying to herself the lustful feeling finally grew.

(chorus)

Burning in her memory. The choices she had made.

She couldn't let the lust retire. She allowed it to invade.

Now she's left so empty. She never will forget.

Once so filled with turmoil. Now it's all regret.

(verse 2)

At home she had her family. A man that loved her so.

A home and self respect yet still the lust for him would grow.

The night came in the winter. She knew it wasn't right.

She lost her very soul and more. She lost her love that night.
