Hands that held me with a gentle strength
Hands that protected me at any length
Hands that clapped for me in joyful praise
Hands that disciplined me through each crazy phase
Hands that at times wiped away my tears
Hands that held together our family in prayers
Hands now aged and wrinkled with time
Hands of a father who's love is mine

Poetry: A man I know
by Ethel Smith
I have known this man
nearly forty years
and for most of that time
there have been no tears.
Of course life is such
that there
His face is weathered, full of life, he's seen many a long hard year
I see that time has bent his back, but still has not
TO KNOW THE MAN IN MY LIFE
In the beginning, I hid from you. Ashamed
of what I allowed to happen to me.
by JRR
There is a man
That I know well
I love him more
Than I can ever tell
He's the most amazing man
That I have ever known
With each
A MAN NAMED ANT
There was a brick spitting guy named Ant
Forever latching on to a bloody rant
On and on he went all day
Moaned
