We all know that women should not feel or even think breast implants are going to raise their self-confidence. But sometimes what you think is not always the case. As a women speaking from experience in this matter, I can say they do and they don't increase self-confidence.

There was a time in my life when I felt so horrible about myself I just couldn't stand to see myself in the mirror. I am a mother of three beautiful children and the things that they can do to a body is amazing. I made the choice to breast feed and that did horrible things to my breast. But let me say one thing I was never happy with my breast before having children.

After long discussions with my husband about breast implants I decided to get them. My husband use to always tell me that my breast were fine the way they were. But I never felt sexy. I wanted to feel sexy and feel like a woman. Times of intimacy with my husband were difficult. I never wanted to take off my blouse, and that would cause all kinds of arguments with my husband. He never understood why I just wasn't happy with myself. All he ever saw was a beautiful woman. Eventually it just came to a point where I just could not deal with it anymore.

The decision for me was easy to just get breast implants. But can I say honestly that it helped my self-confidence. The answer is, "NO." There are times when I am happy with my decision and there are times that I wonder if they could have come out better. Sometimes I even wonder if I should get them done again or if I should have done them at all.

Breast implants will and should not improve your self-confidence. I truthfully believe that it is all in our minds. Self-confidence does not come from a great pair of breast. It comes from within your heart and soul. But in todays society beauty is everywhere. Everybody wants to look like the next top model or playboy bunny. After dealing with this in my own heart and soul I feel beautiful even if I have breast or if I don't. I was fighting with myself this whole time. I needed to feel confident in myself regardless of breast.

Everybody is beautiful in their own way. You can make yourself feel self-confidence or you can make yourself feel bad. Remember the next top model or playboy bunny is a person to. They are fighting with their own self-confidence just like the next person. But just like you and I they are beautiful no matter what light they are under. Breast implants is a life changing decision. Before you jump out there and buy your own make sure it is only the breast that don't make you feel confident.
