Developing your psychic ability can help your life in a variety of ways. By cultivating your psychic abilities, you can connect with the universe. The universe is an abundant source of gifts, and only by believing in its ability to provide for us, can we achieve greater success in our lives. One issue that many people struggle with is saving money. Here are some tips to help you open yourself to receiving money.

1) Get rid of your negative attitudes towards money. If you see money as evil, dirty, a product of sacrifice, or something you don't deserve, then you are telling the universe that you will not allow money into your life. Negative attitudes you have towards your ability to earn money should also be challenged. If you believe people who have money are sellouts, believe money only comes from hard work, or that you will never make good money, then that is what you will receive.

2) Receive. When you allow yourself to receive, you allow yourself to receive love, money, work, and other things. Tell yourself: "I receive money." How do you feel about receiving all of these things? If you feel resistant, then you need to ask yourself why. Also, recognize that receiving does not have to be financial. If someone invites you to dinner or offers you a gift, accept those things with gratitude. By accepting them, you show that you are willing to receive other things as well.

3) Know you can afford it. You are capable of affording everything. Don't tell yourself, "I can't afford this." You can always afford something, you just might take longer than you expect to get it. If you would like a boat, you could save for a boat. Remind yourself that you can afford anything. Once you acknowledge that, decide if it is really what you would like to buy. Would you really like a boat? Maybe not, maybe you would just like to go on a boat from time to time. Allow the universe to figure out how to get that for you.

4) Remove the word "want" from your vocabulary. "Want" means to lack. If you say "I want money" you are really saying "I lack money." Change your words to more positive affirmations: "I have money." Speaking as if something is real will tell the universe you deserve it and it will come to you.

5) Make room for new things. Rid yourself of clutter. Give away what you don't need to others. By gifting to others, you allow gifts to come to you.

6) Save 10% of all the money you receive. When you get paid, put 10% away. When someone pays you back money they owe you, put 10% away.
