The benefits of outdoor cat enclosures

Outdoor cat safety is a major concern for responsible cat owners. There are many people that live in rural areas that allow their cats to roam freely at night, and bring them in during the day. Many of those cat owners have found that coyotes and other animals can pose a danger to their pets. The statistics of cats being mauled by wild dogs, or coyotes have been on the rise. It is now the perfect opportunity to invest in an outdoor cat enclosure. It protects the animal, while allowing them the freedom to enjoy the natural outdoors.

An outdoor cat enclosure is a place where cats can enjoy the sunshine and aroma of outdoors, while being protected behind screen walls. They can watch birds, hear noises, and smell the crisp air all in the comfort and security of an enclosed structure. These enclosures range in cost from very inexpensive, to very costly. Depending on the size of the enclosure, and the amenities involved. My cousin owns an outdoor cat enclosure equipped with air-conditioned cat trees and nature surround sound. This enclosure is nice enough for me to live in, and thus more costly than some of the other enclosures on the market. Some enclosures are small, but can be adjusted later on. This allows for the enclosure to gradually grow through the years.

There are benefits to an outdoor cat enclosure for the owner as well. Having your cats lounging in the afternoon sun while you vacuum the floor is priceless. How many times do I have to tell my cat that the vacuum is not a mortal threat to his safety? He's attacked the Roomba so many times, I finally had to give it away. I started locking him in the bathroom while I vacuumed, but then stopped that when I realized he was literally tunneling his way out of the room using the bathroom drain. So, an outdoor cat enclosure is immeasurable in many ways.

One of the most popular outdoor cat enclosures is the kind that incorporates outdoor living with indoor access. Cats don't like to feel trapped, and with a door allowing them access to both outdoors and indoors, your cats will feel free and will enjoy their enclosure for life. I have really enjoyed having a cat enclosure for my patio. It creates a natural habitat for my cat that will keep him safe from predators. The safety of the pet is the most important thing, and an outdoor cat enclosure gives the owner the peace of mind to allow their cat the freedom of being outside, while staying safe.
