words hiding behind emotions
if only the tears fell softer
when words actually comfort
and a new face isn't far away
i'm not letting someone else in
sunrise on heartbreak mornings
the beauty just isn't the same
its hard to unlearn trying
driving forces kept at bay
putting energy to other things
my hands on him disappearing
now hands just push others away
i don't wish to be broken but
there just isn't enough thread
to hold this mess together
when want becomes evident
the only things keeping me safe
are material and they don't do anything
'cos someone wants competition
and the other thinks i'm won
