In comparison studies of college students and high school students, people that go to college make more money than people who only have a high school education. Career college can be the best choice for people who want to hold a job that they love, and for people who want to make good money throughout their entire lives.
Going to college is very expensive.
Depending on what you are good at, where your interests lie, and how much money you want to make for your life's goals will determine if you will go to career college or not. With the average cost of one year of college being $20,000 for many people going to school for four years is an impossible dream. State colleges range in price from $4,000 to $10,000 a year. Private college can be very steep at over $30,000 a year. Imagine paying as much for one year of college as people make it one year working at a full time job.
Where are the best career fields to go into?
Many people who do don't go to career college and work in manufacturing and customer service jobs are subject to layoffs in a sour economy. A person stands a better chance of having a job in a down economy when he is more educated and works in a field that is a growing field such as the health care field, and renewable energy. You can start college with a major in engineering and have a job secured with a well know company many years before graduation.
Going to college will afford you a better lifestyle than not going to college.
There are many jobs that require going to career college. Many times just having a degree will get your foot in the door. All you have to do then, is work really hard and act very interested and you will have a great career with a terrific employer. Going to Career College for a career that is new such as renewable energy of solar energy and wind power, are growing areas that are literally taking off right now.
Even though medical school can be a whopping half a million dollars for just three short years, many doctors that perform operations and anesthesiologists can rake in over a million dollars in a few short years after graduation.
Going to career college can be a very expensive undertaking. Learn all that you can about your selected career field and get a wonderful start in life. You may not become rich, but chances are that you will have a much better life working a career that lasts for a long time, rather than working a job that ends due to a manufacturing firm closing its doors and moving your job to another country for cheaper labor.
