Poetry: Defeat

by Thinka

Created on: January 19, 2009

This pain inside,

This rain I find,

melts my heart,

defeats the start.

Slow is the thought process,

Fast is the insane progress,

Questions lie beside,

the wonders I defeat inside.

Live to know tomorrow,

Die to know no sorrow,

Love lives and breaths,

Hate dies and breeds,

Send the sounds of thunder to my brain,

to unwhither the the defeat in pain.

She cries a soft whimper,

as she takes in her last inahale,

she is so frail,

beaten down in heat,

the whispers of defeat.
