When I look into your eyes, still and unmoving,
I wonder what warmth lies behind them.
When I look into those eyes, still and unmoving,
I see an innocent smile, free and careless.
And I envy who that smile is reserved for.
When I look into your eyes, still and unmoving,
I feel a small pain in what is left of my stone heart.
I know it is not my pain to feel, but never less, I find it there.
A pain I hide away, like all the rest, knowing I am not deserving.
I wonder what reason the cosmic forces had for crossing our two paths.
Did they show me that smile to taunt me?
To show me what is just out of reach, what solitude I impose on myself?
What hidden lessons am I supposed to learn?
Or was it something less malicious
Was it to show me that in this world, full of ugliness, destruction and pain,
That hidden away behind those eyes of yours there is something more?
To show me that there is still such a thing as true beauty, intelligence and innocence.
To show me that no everything has been corrupted by this evil world.
And to show me there is something to fight for, worth changing the world for,
Even if it means I must die alone to change the world for just one person.
Even if I can never be the true target of those eyes,
Never feel the warmth of your smile,
Never hold you to me, and caress your beautiful skin,
Or feel the soft wisps of your hair.
It is enough to know that the beauty of your smile still exists.
And somewhere in the world, a light shines like a beacon to lead me on my path.

Poetry: Loving you
by Gottmann
Your green eyes smother and intoxicate my mind,
Filling it up with act less thoughts that leave me dolefully confined
I think
On this clear crisp night
My dreams are of you holding me tight
Whispering to me as you stroke my hair
Feeling your love, knowing
He saw the sparkle in her eye
And returned her gaze with a laughing smile
Not really knowing the reason why
He stood there
PATH TO DESTRUCTION
Staring into this broken glass,
I see all the possibilities of how we could have been
I see happiness,
by Anzar
When you will be no more
I’ll think of you as a distant, dear inevitable charm
An echoing serenity and a laughing,
