Hands down, a smoothie gets my vote! Smoothies are much more healthier than any soda pop out there, and the flavor choice is endless! You can concoct any sort of combination you like. And smoothies are great any time of the day!
My favorite smoothie is Mango-Cranberry! (I'm a freak for anything mango!) I use about 1/4 cup of chopped mango, 1/4 cup of cranberry juice and 1/2 cup of low fat vanilla yogurt - toss them all in the blender and whir them up, then pour into a glass and enjoy! I frequently make a smoothie for a quick breakfast on the go when I'm running a little behind getting to work in the morning. Now I wouldn't want to do that with a coke! Soda pop for breakfast? That's just icky!
And you can even make your smoothies for adults only. Add a shot of rum or vodka to your smoothie mixture and impress your guests! Now I'm drooling over the thought of a Malibu Coconut Rum and Pineapple smoothie! I must pick up a pineapple tomorrow! :-)
