It's you and me,
In a stand off.
You, stepping on my toes,
Me, walking you around on them.
The stand off begins,
we'll see, who wins, this round.
I am afraid, like so many times before,
that you will win,

and the energy I lack, will somehow be matched,

this energy stand-off,
but for now, I succumb
to my weakness, and fall to the floor,
laughing, for you have won the energy stand-off again,
and I am too tired to play,
anymore today.

Who I
