Back in the old days of the third world developing countires then, education was a big part of the socio-cultural and economic system in uplifting the lives of it's citizens. Hence, even the poorest nations with mass poverty who had a very good educational system where blesses with professional, skilled and highly qualified workforce.

As seen in well developed countries like the United States, a lot of the hard working immigrants are products of reputable educational school systems in their originating countries. Sectors like Healthcare, Finance and Technology are just some of the example sectors that had made the American economy boost with highly competent workers.

Yet in the last few years, the War on Terror made more impact in terms of importance that basic needs like Healthcare and Education.

As we can now see, education plays an important arena in order to more competitively understand the economics of a recession, unemplyment and rising poverty level right in the very heart of America, the richest nation on earth.

From the industrial to the technological age, the Obama administration finally understands these implications and which was why Arne Duncan was chosen to head the area od education.

Hopefully, more impact on education reforms towards uplifting economic standards and new technological approaches for better productivity will be an important ingredient towards economic recovery. Only through education which is now sufferring huge budget cuts and deficits from state government will the next generation of leaders be equipped to tackle economic chellenges such as the one we are experiencing globally.

Education is a viable way towards increasing wealth because information is pass on towards better job creation, fighting inflaton and other economic measures needed to be equally proficiient and competitive in the workforce.

As to the new head of the education department, more power and may you get the much needed support in order for you to do your job.

We need more educators and teachers in the educational system, more resources and in today's technological age more computers to better educate our students.

Cutting state budgets on education is not the key towards deficits and negative cash flow. When we limit information dessimination and education, we reducing productivity and the competitiveness of the next genration of workers and leaders of our society.

We have an obligation to provide the right infrastructure for success of our youth. After all this was how the baby boomers did it during the industrial age. A more educated person can more lifely face the realities of life's ups and downs as they better understand the implications of capitalism, credit, finance and economics.

Let us be one in supporting education as a tool towards better prosperity.
