My dearest friend,
I love you so
Time together
Means so much
I haven't heard from you
For a day
And I miss you
Even though I'll see you soon.
My dearest friend,
You make me laugh
You're so clever, so witty
I think the world of you
I hope you agree
That you love me too
In our own special way
My dearest friend,
How quickly we've become
Close, so close
So at ease
And I am glad
That I haven't waited any longer
To be your very best friend.
