Yes, a 24 hour fitness location improves my ability to lose weight. At first I did not believe this because I joined for the fact that it was a 24 hour fitness center. But I found myself putting off working out because I knew in the back of my head that I could go anytime. So the sense of urgency to workout was not there. I wound up not exercising at all. I hated this because I realized that I was putting work first and as I sat all day behind a computer, I was so mentally drained that I did not have the mental capacity to drag myself to the gym.

But one day I changed my mentality and realized that I needed to create a schedule. So I workout at 4 a.m. in the morning everyday. Most gyms in my community do not open until 5:30 A.M. But the benefit of a 24 hour fitness center is that it is available for anyone's schedule. The key to success is to create a schedule and stick to it. But you must add fitness into it and use your gym to make that happen.

Years ago, I worked at a hospital and got off of work at 11:30 p.m. every night. I was too wound up to come home and go to sleep and hated tip-toeing around my home so as to not disturb my parents who were sleeping. So I always headed to the gym and would workout until 3 a.m. I absolutely loved it because the gym was empty and I could use the time to focus on me. I didn't have to wait in line to use the equipment. Since I worked the evening shift, it was hard to date or go out with friends to the bars. So my 24 hour fitness center became my "club" or my hang-out spot. And what a healthy alternative. Within 3 months, I had whipped my body into shape. I looked incredible and since I worked out overnight, I was able to do it at a time that would not interfere with the other priorities in my day.

By then, my mental strength was fierce and so if I missed working out, I was able to go in and workout and not skip a beat with my exercise. I guess the best thing that I got out of it is the feeling that the gym was mine. It became an extension of my life and I knew that no matter when I needed it, it would always be open for me to give me a chance to improve my looks and my life.

So a 24 hour fitness center can improve your ability to lose weight. But it will only be successful if you have a schedule and stick to it. And you can use it as a reliable, dependable liason on your journey for physical success.
