Angels Caress.
The sweet caress of angels wings
The warm and tender love they bring
They sing their sweet delightful song
A lullaby to make you strong.
I'm sure they leave a sign for me
But in my blindness I don't see
With worldly thoughts that cloud my sight
I follow through to meet my plight.
If I could listen without fear
And keep my Angels close and near
I know that I would see the way
And work out what they have to say.
My human weakness lets me down
I know I make my Angels frown
I have to learn to contemplate
To open up the guiding gate.
Those gentle voices in my head
When I lay silent in my bed
I often think I'm going mad
I'm sure It makes my Angels sad.
Can you please tell me what to do
Do Angels come to visit you
Do you ask Angels when you pray
To guide you through your busy day.
But I know one thing that is true
The Angels are for me and you
God sent them here to help us see
There's more to life than you and me.
