Some say it tastes like the Torrens River,
And if you have too much it wrecks your liver,
But I think it tastes allright,
It's all natural and just right,
Coopers think they are the best,
But they obsess with ales unlike the rest,
Ales aren't refreshing on a very hot day,
Now I am tired and run out of things to say,
That's why I drink the beer for all the jolly state,
It's more South Australian than my best mate!

Poetry: Beer
Cherishing a Frosty Friend (an ode to beer)
Your tin exterior is strong and silent
Wet from condensation
Your frosty taste
They have their beer in plastic glasses,
Gesture wildly and converse
With each other about their interests,
As my mind starts
by Jon Coe
Crisp, still, tall and slender
pass between my lips, so tender
Swallowing down, a thirst doth quench
bring me another, it's
Beer Goggles...
Drinking by a moonlit lake
amber nectar refreshing
speaking words, and
contemplating love
Yet another beer has
laughter
small talk
short walk
to the bus
all day
field trip
to the zoo
drunken driver
feeling blue
another sip
of booze
unscheduled
sno oze
broken
