You may be the only Bible some people will ever read

You may be the only Bible some people read is a wonderful topic, I must say that as soon as I came across this I couldn't wait to write a article on this.

You very well may be, the only Bible somebody might get a chance to read for many reasons, like maybe they can't read, so they watch and follow the example of the ones they know can read, and does read the Bible.

So what example are we setting for them to follow?

Are you telling them to Give as Jesus tells us to do, as you are safe in your nice warm home with your doors locked, while they sleep under cardboard box's?

Are you telling them to Love your neighbor as Jesus tells us to do, as you curse at your neighbor or yell hateful things at the neighborhood kids playing in the street?

Are you telling them to Feed the poor as Jesus fed the multitude, as you eating at restaurants, while they are hungry wishing for a slice of bread or clean water to drink?

Are you showing Gods love to all you come across? because my friend, that is what you should be doing if you want to be true like the Bible.

I never really thought about what I was portraying to others until something so very sweet, but so very scary at the same time happened to me one day. At a family Reunion one year about seven years ago. We were all getting ready to leave, giving hugs and kisses and saying our goodbye's. When my great niece who was about four years old at that time, came up to hug me, and whispered in my ear the sweetest and scariest thing anyone had ever said to me before.

She whispered " I know your secret ", I said to her, what did you say? and she whispered again in my ear, " My Nana told me your secret", So I ask her what her Nana told her. When she answered I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

She whispered again in my ear, " My Nana said that you are an Angel sent down from God to teach us all how to love and care for each other".

Well I was floored, I didn't know what to say, so I told her, we are all Angels, and we are supposed to love each other and teach each other how to love.

After I went home this began to sink in what this child really thought of ' Me ' An Angel sent from God. ' Me ' who at the time didn't have the cleanest language in the world ( and I'm still working on that when I'm angry sometimes ). ' Me ' who smoked a pack of cigarettes every day. ' Me ' who had left her husband when things got to taught to handle, instead of trusting God. 'Me' who had all these flaws and I never thought anyone even looked close enough to see passed them.

She thought I was an Angel, how flattering and yet so scary. I had made an impression on this child and my sister, enough that they considered me a Angel, clearly I needed to clean up my act if I am representing God and all his love and care. And I'm still working on it today.

This changed my life in a good way, It is true, you may be the only Bible some people can read. So what are you telling them that God want from them, and can do for them, and we can all do for each other. If we are reflecting Gods love to others, how are we showing his love to others. That is what they should be reading from you every day. So I ask you, what kind of a Bible are you being.
