Although she feels out of control, holding her tongue is what she has to do.
Those untrusting feeling come rushing in only because she really loves you.
Being gone for almost two weeks and wandering where you've been
But she doesn't want to nag so the questions she holds in.
You sense an attitude and jump on a defense,
So what is she suppose to think when none of it makes sense?
The best thing she needs to do is just go on as if it doesn't miss you
Even though in her heart she knows that isn't true.
It is all an act she is the only one who knows,
How the insecurity inside her really flows.
Before she knows it you'll be walking through the door.
She just need to hold her tongue and let her confidence sour.

Poetry: Holding your tongue
Holding your tongue, you start to pray
When you see your child who went away
Come home from college with bright pink hair
With
WORDS ONCE SPOKEN
When wise men speak what they say makes sense
When foolish people speak they usually contradict themselves
by Crajoto
The window opens at quarter to three
Nothing happening here, nothing to see
Ticking hope still drives that sill skyward
Hope
Such a simple test
That will flunk even the very best
Early, late, and usually just all day long
Beating down others in trying
Old
They scrabble for me <
with their gnarled twisted fingers
malshaped palms that have not delicacy
or art left
