Is it possible that God, who loves all of man-kind favours one theory over another, especially about Himself. What is apparent is that whether you believe in the creation theories, taken from the Book of Genesis in the Bible or in Darwin's evolution theory, it doesn't make any difference to God.
God made us with free will, to chose what we believe in, to use our mind, the mind that he gave us, to explore to search and to evolve. The early humans may not have had the scientific know how, that we have now, but it does not mean they did not question how they came about.
Early man was probably more able to access the 'truth' of our origin because there was the connection with nature and the elements. Even then there was a knowing that there was something bigger than they were (not talking dinosaurs here) a higher power. Did they have the Bible to compare to scientific evidence? No, they had the truth inside of them.
Theories are hypothesis which need to be tested and the evidence is then used to prove or disprove the theory. Like the theory of evolution which is science based, creation is also a theory which is not science based. The theory of creation may not be presented by scientists but it is presented by man, even if it is inspired by God. It is still man who wrote it.
What is also evident is that the concept of how the world and all in it, came about is something incomprehensible, even if science has tried to put some order of events in it. The Bible tells a story, which may be fantastical but we are talking about a fantastical concept.
Like folk stories and mythology, the theory of creation are stories which are based on truth which have been past down the centuries from people to people. Each person adding his own interpretation and some omitting other information. There is no way of knowing if what is written in the Bible is the original word of God or not.
Science can prove with evidence the age of fossils, the evolution of a certain species etc. which again is based on truth. What both theories cannot prove is where did all this initially come from? Where did God come from? Where is God? What or who is God?
So, we have this mind, which God gave us, to think, to ponder, to experiment with our environment, all searching for the same thing - to know where we came from. It does not matter what means we use or what we believe to be true. It all leads us to the same place, sooner or later. We are all the same, searching for the truth.

I had a seminary professor who said that he did not have a problem with the big bang theory of the creation of the universe.
Can the Bible be trusted? Does the theory of evolution disprove the Bible? Are they mutually exclusive, or is the problem
Creationism and evolution do not need to be mutually exclusive, although many make you think so. These two are either true
Creation and evolution. Why do these two concepts have to be "mutually exclusive"? There is only one answer here- they aren't
Using creation theory within evolutionary theory would be a backward step for researchers. It should remain separate from
