Dealing with Sleeping Disorders
Regarding sleep disorders I have had plenty and still at times find myself awake many times during the night so I have gone through over the years many trial offers and differing drug therapies. I tried several kinds Apo-Oxazepam, and a couple others similar and I use a hospital bed the keeps my head raised while sleeping. I tried Snore strips and these at times worked but not always. They are too expensive as well because if you used them every night and just one time for each strip they are more expensive than drugs. I tried to use them a few times but they barely work through one night for me and my skin is sensitive to most glue including non-allergenic types.
It's not fun waking up with a sore throat and head ache that makes you feel like you nearly died and the sleep you lost adds up so if you can't sleep for more than three nights you fall asleep at times through the day a few seconds or minutes at a time at times even when using the computer or watching the TV. I broke my glasses a few months ago using the Computer and fell asleep and didn't realize I had my glasses on so when I did realize it I found them with a broken spring that keeps them tight on your face. I may have stepped on the frame and caused strain that ultimately broke them. It only cost $4 dollars for the part so that was good at least.
Because of this disorder I had to stop working on electronics because when you are working on this type of equipment you need to think and with a headache or a brain starved from oxygen night after night you get so you just can't do it anymore. In the last few months though I have had much improved sleep at least I think I have. I am now taking Apo-Amitriptyline along with Apo-Oxazepam together each night and it seems to be working and the body has a natural way of healing itself when not being abused by Oxygen Deprivation. The Apo-Amitriptyline is supposed to do something in the brain to cut off pain neurons or something like that and this alleviates your symptoms somehow and I actually sleep through until 5 in the morning and get back to sleep until some times 8. I also usually have less pain through the day.
This varies so I still often use Novasen (Coated Aspirin) to help with Arthritis. The Apo-Oxazepam is nerve medication but a very mild type so it will relax you to let you fall into a fairly deep sleep. One other drug I tried before was Nova-Zopiclone which I am sure nearly killed me so I just used it once and was terrified to reuse it. It certainly would be nice to sleep naturally with no meds but I will be glad to get along day by day with these drugs rather than live a nightmare I have lived through for too many years. I only hope they will keep working for me until I get to a better stage in my life and feel better and have the ability to talk clearly and tell stories like I should be able to.
I know in my life there have been many causing effects that lead to the disabilities I suffer along with sleeping disorders but no matter what I do things will always come back haunting me until I get every part of my body working to enhance the life I lead.
