So did you miss out on the New Year's celebrations? Were you too sick, too busy or too broke to go where the excitement was? Well don't fret there is always next year. You have 365 days to decide where you want to spend the next new year's. Allow me to help you decide by providing a list of the 10 best cities to welcome the new year.

#10 Disney World, Florida

There is something childlike in the appreciation of a new year. What better way to get back to the idealism of your childhood than to spend New Year's eve with Mickey, Goofy and the whole gang at DisneyWorld. Perfect Place too if you have children. Lots of rides and fireworks to keep you entertained.

#9 Paris, France

The city of Romance really shows its love when it comes to the new year. Millions of people mill around the city visiting the Eiffel Tower, champ Elysees and other tourist sites while they countdown the minutes to the New year. Total strangers become friends, wine and well wishes are exchanged. And what would Romance be without kisses? At midnight, just as the new year starts, kisses are tossed around like coins from a pocket.

#8 Tokyo, Japan

The best thing about Tokyo is that the celebrations for New Year's eve start on December 29th and end on the 5th of January. Yes that is right, the New Year's celebration is more than a week long. There are clubs and fireworks to see but Tokyo, unlike most cities, prefers a more low key approach. Many people in Tokyo prefer to spend the actual New year's eve with friends and family and forego the flashy glitzy parties. The more spiritual flock to the temples where the bell's ring at midnight to signify the new year.

#7 Los Angelas, California

As the song goes "I love LA". Well what's not to love about their New Year's celebrations? There are thousands of clubs, parties and restaurants that cater to the masses of holiday revellers. What really makes LA stand out though is its Tournament of Roses Parade followed by the 'Granddaddy of them all' Rose Bowl College football game. So, in LA, its not just partying but the thrill of sports that makes New year's truly memorable.

#6 Berlin, Germany

In Germany, The new year is synonomous with one thing: The Brandenburg Gate. Hundreds of 100,000's of germans flock to Berlin to party, drink German brew and watch the marvel of german engineering light up in sync with the new year

#5 London, England

What makes London so special is that it is the undisputed New Year's party capitol of the world. There are thousands of clubs and parties
