"Unrequited"
A kiss remembered,
rolled over in my mind,
a stone
smoothed by rushing waters.
A smile memorized,
set to music
lilting melody
played over again.
Eyes still seen,
hypnotic
dark caverns
hidden torment.
A heart
cold
no love
just misperception.

I NO LONGER SIT ALONE
We just had a brief moment in time,
I sit alone thinking of you,
The day was just perfect, you captured
The sun peeps out
from behind a cloud,
showing its shining face.
A flower opens up
revealing its beauty,
so perfect in its place.
