How to learn the art of tact

"What's the difference between: look before you leap', and meditate before you answer?' Do you meditate before you speak, or does your mouth bubble forth with bad things?" (Proverbs 15:28)

If you did have a sound knowledge with ability to answer questions well, then I would not hesitate to seek you out when I am looking for help and information.

I have no need to reject where you got your information, because there is no mystery about your source of understanding."

DaddyLongLive: "You're on the right track, and if you are still lacking in wisdom, you could keep on asking God, for he gives generously to all and without reproaching." (Jas. 1:5) A word of caution: "do not expect to gain wisdom if, after asking, you ignore the provision God has made for us to gain it. What I'm relating is not theoretical in actual practice the value is observed when one seeks every method to broaden his or her knowledge and understanding."

ShoulderWithChip: "O K, you win, where do I obtain this wisdom so I can press on to maturity? Is it at your Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's witnesses? What do you people do at these meetings; do you make baskets or do you red websites like: www.lookseenow.net DaddyLong, with a chuckle, responds:

"If you can, picture a mountain with a wide trail and to it peoples are streaming, just filling that trail up and behind as far as you can see. And each one is saying to another: Come, you people, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and he will instruct us about his ways.' That's our Kingdom Halls and our Assembly Halls where we get that instruction. Instead of making baskets, we learn war no more, we figuratively, by an oath of neutrality beat our swords into plowshares, and our spears into pruning hooks."

ShoulderWithChip: "Now, that's the change we really do need. Why aren't our elected leaders in that line you painted with words?"
