The Moment
It was December
It was a moment in time that I will always remember
He had enlisted into the Marines and was on his way to leave
Yet I always believed
that I would have time to let him know that I loved him
Without saying a word, I stared at him
And I thought to myself:
"Don't let this moment pass"
"It may be your last"
But I couldn't find the right words to say
Instead I turned around and walked away
He left with nothing to say
And in that moment, my life changed and was never the same

Only regrets will happen
Not letting
That moment pass from me!
Learn from this
Each an everyday
Take
