Finding our purpose is the one thing that we are supposed to do while we are here on this earth. Our purpose is usually the one thing that most often times eludes us because of poor choices or uncertainty.

My purpose was found in one of my passions. I have a burning passion to ignite the hearts of people everywhere to love, forgive, and live within that love. I believe that hope can be restored, healing from pain can be achieved, and that people who really need to live life and learn to love life will see how life really begins as they read and allow the words to sink into the very deepest part of who they are! Not because of anything that I have written, but because I love the Lord with all of my heart and it is through His words that I believe these things will be done!

You see, the most important thing that we can remember is that no matter how dark the storm is and no matter where we are within our lives, that God is right there with us and waiting for us to lean on him through the rough seas. If we weren't in the midst of this particular trial right now, it would be something different.

There will always be a trial of some sort because God is trying to purify our hearts and minds so that we can be used by Him. There is nothing that we will go through where He won't be there! That should bring awesome comfort to know that the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is always by our side no matter how deep in the trials and pain we get! How will you decide to go through your trials?

I have realized that it is in the times where things appear to be the darkest, and when God seems to be the farthest from us when He is actually doing the most in our lives. That is really difficult to believe when we are in the midst of the storm, but that is where our faith is vital! How we make it through the storm that we are weathering will be up to us with what we believe and what we do!

There was a beckoning within me to write this. A nudging within me that I could not ignore or explain away. So about 2 years ago I began to write things about being free and restored, among other things that I would write out of love for my family. I began taking the words that I know were laid and imprinted upon my heart, and place them onto paper.

I did this first with the faith and hope that they would not only help me and restore my broken heart, but that these words would help other women, girls, and people as well. As a result, two books were birthed out of my past pains, and now I share with
