I hate the rain
I hate it all.
Cold and I'm wet
And I'm sorry
That I didn't call.
Still coming down
Nowhere to fall
Cold and I'm wet
And I'm sorry
That I didn't crawl
Back to your door step
When you offered your help.
You said all is forgiven
But I wouldn't listen.
Didn't know you wouldn't be there
When I decided to give a care.
I hate the rain;
I hate the cold.
I'm shaking and shivering
And I'm feeling old.
Too tired to begin again.
Too late since you've gone.
I'm aching and giving in
To being alone.
