I strongly believe that this is not a human rights issue because there are laws which govern the legal entry to this country. If people choose to enter illegally they are breaking the law. What type of existence would we have if everyone just decided to do as they please.

For years, I have followed the letter of the law whether I thought it was fair or not. There are a great many people and political groups that believe these people that have chosen to ignore the system that was put into place to allow them to earn those freedoms should have civil rights. I am sorry, but the legal system should be reserved for the citizens that have paid their taxes, tried to make their communities a better living environment, and worked hard to achieve the American Dream. For someone to come in and just presume that they should be handed these rights are trying to get something for nothing. They have nothing invested. It is like giving in to a spoiled child because it is easier than making that child work for and gain a sense of responsibility.

I resent the fact that when I call somewhere I have to choose whether I want to hear something in English or Spanish. This is America. I do not hear them asking if I choose to listen in Greek, French or any other language other than Spanish. Why is it that in the United States we are asked to change our way of life and thinking to suit one particular set of immigrants.

There are a great many immigrants who worked and saved to come to this country to enjoy the benefits and freedoms of this country and it belittles their accomplishments if we just simply allow this to continue. I do not hear them complaining that their "Human Rights" are being violated. They made a decision to try and provide for their families, came to this country and embraced the language, hard work, and tenacity to overcome the obstacles that they were presented.

If you choose to come to this country then you should be making a conscious effort to abide by the rules and governances that have been put into place. Unfortunately, these rules have not been enforced so now we are overrun with challenges that I don't believe the government is equipped to deal with. This issue has been swept under the carpet for too long and now the challengers say just "grandfather" these people. Allow them to stay. I say to them a very Strong "NO". They have broken the law, and should be treated like anyone else that has taken the rights and freedoms from the citizens. What type of statement will we make if we cater to their demands.

Injustice is a human rights issue, not an ignorance of the constitution and governing of law that the United States as a democracy has set forth.
