Sister.........
You stretch your wings
Of lavender white,
Blossoming a vision more pure
Than morning light.
In an arc above the land,
Your feathers trickle down like rain,
An ethereal dance of love
Transforming earthly beings in pain.
A task of guiding our essence,
For only the righteous of heart,
This gift within you,
Manifested before your birthly start.
To me, a mother, a sister,
A best friend, like no other,
My shelter, my life,
My being, a proud brother.
Forget not, the amazing
That is one with you,
For there are no women
Amongst us, quite so true.

We'll each get
our favorite flavor

Little Sister
She is the younger me
The lively one of the pack
The fun one I used to be
She is the attention getter

Karen and Jo, one August born and the other, a September birth
One grows up wanting to be heard, 'I want to do things my
I try to catch her, I try and try.
And yet it seems I cannot fly.
My wings pinned down, the strings attached.
I tug for freedom

A Sister's Love
A mysterious thing
but not a guarantee
is a sister's love
when it's grown from seed
A wondrous beginning
