Being a man is more than just having a pair of testicles. It's not just about eating piles of meat and beating things with sledge hammers.

Being a man is about what you do, and how you do it. It lives in your very soul like a mighty dragon waiting for its time to be unleashed on the world, it breaks from its chains and comes forth out of the dark caverns. Villagers run away screaming in fear, as your mighty man dragon imposes it's mighty will upon them with fire and feces.

"What kind of dragon is this!?" they scream.

"I am a talking dragon!" you roar, as you begin to smash their houses with your giant dragon claws.

That is what it means to be a man. An unwavering confidence, that fills your whole heart. An unrelenting drive to impose your will, regardless of the circumstances or logic. For without this persistence, there can be no power, there can be no strength.

It is only through this persistent dedication that a man can be a man. If a man loses this, it may clue the weaker of the species that he does not know what he is doing. Which could upset the fabric of society. So It is the job of the man to never let down his guard, to never let the enemy know what he is thinking. He is a creature of steady persistence. Even if he ends up two states off course while driving with his wife to the beach. He must always show vigilance!

Through persistence comes power, through power comes self reliance. For any man that is not self reliant is weak, merely a shell of himself. The self reliant man uses nothing but his well worn hands to provide for his family. He uses them to build his own house. They are rough and callous, and swooned over by many women. Yet he does not allow this temptation to stray him from his wife.

Self reliance allows the man to survive in the wilderness if he has to, with nothing more than his wits. He can create a dangerous weapon out of a rock and his under garments. With a mighty swing of his arm, he can bring down a large moose. Rubbing firewood together he is able to create a fire that will cook his bounty, and feed his family.

This is what it means to be a man. A hero, a champion, a non stop power machine of love. He brings forth his goodness unto this world. He has no time for cuddling or talking. For tomorrow he is off to bring more of the earth under his mighty will. His destiny is one of greatness.
