to our children in politically-correct public school curricula where the mention of traditional religions has been banned for decades - kids are programmed to green worship. Global news media have been a willing and gullible accomplice in the hysterics of environmentalism.
As with all religions, environmentalism has the harmful impacts of false prophets, cult extremists, and conflicts with proven science. No where in the history of the environmental movement have the false prophets and extremists been more duplicitous than in the eco-propaganda and political exploitation of the theory of global warming. Biased early U.N. committee reports, unrealistic Kyoto Protocols, and wild doomsday speculation from green group fund raising propaganda have distorted the issues of climate change far beyond rational scientific discovery or discourse. Recent published science concludes that the earth is warming, but that the crushing global economic impact of fully-implemented Kyoto Protocols would only reduce global warming gases by less than one percent during the 21st Century. And, a forthcoming U.N. report update will cut the previously-projected 21st Century global temperature rise by half. Contrary to religion, science is not about belief, hyped hypotheses, corporate conspiracies or political opportunism. The applied sciences that enable and protect your everyday activities are about repeatable, measurable proof of a theory for cause and effect concerning physical phenomenon using the scientific method. Policymakers must resist environmentalism's seduction of short-term political gains, and await the conclusive science that properly analyses global climate change. Short-term leverage of environmentalism for political expediency will only hasten and lengthen a global economic collapse, with far greater human suffering, conflict and pollution than any of the worst-case scenarios being proliferated by environmentalism's 21st-Century climate crusade.
