Poetry: Forbidden

If I could have
a dream come true
I'd like to spend it
loving you.

If I could have
a wish to share
I'd go with you
most anywhere.

If I thought
I had a chance
Believe me,
I would take a stance.

If I thought
I had a say
I'd gladly let you
have your way.

But for now they're in
control of me
Suppressing all
my sexuality.
