It is possible and you may be in the right place. So far the Helium community seems very adept and intelligent. I have seen several articles that have been written by very knowledgeable professionals.

I earn about $1,000 a day through several investments, businesses and passive income sources. I will break down exactly what I have done and give you a boiler plate that you can use to do it for yourself:

Business #1 - Semi Passive Service Business - This business has 10 employees. It earns about $900 per day with costs of about $300/400 per day. That leaves $500+ in daily profit for me.

Business $2 - Semi Passive Service Business - This business has 1 employee and earns about $40 per day. The employee technically works for business number 1 so there are no payroll costs. The actual costs are $10/day leaving $30 per day in profit for me.

Stock Market - I keep about $5,000 and growing in the stock market diversified among many different industries (no airlines!). This earns an average of $20 per day in capital gains/dividends and grows annually.

Real Estate - I have 3 rental properties that I purchased with no money down and no mortgage. I took over the mortgage payment that the seller had in place. You can read about the strategies I use to acquire real estate on Helium (more articles coming soon) and on my websites http://www.propequity.com and http://www.richsonpoordad.com. I rent these properties out for $100-$200 more than the mortgage payment/repairs/maintenance/insurance/taxes. This gives me about $30/day in passive income after expenses. This number will grow as I acquire property. It also does not include the appreciation and long term wealth from equity in the property.

Websites/Adsense - I have a network of websites related to my expertise in real estate and other areas. I use Google Adsense to monetize these websites. I also hold about 100 domain names to resell in the future. I hope to earn money by leasing these domains out to others on a short term basis. Right now I earn about $5/day with minimal effort.

EBay - I sell many of my real estate tips and secrets on eBay or my websites. With minimal effort this generates about $100 per day in sales. You can sell almost anything on eBay to earn money.

It adds up to just under $1,000 per day which is a fair amount. What I learned is that it takes a lot of hired help to earn that much money. You cannot do it all yourself. At some point you realize you need some assistance....usually around $300/day. You might be saying "You started a business which took money. How can I do that?" The truth is I started my businesses with about $100. Anybody can do it in America...its very easy. In fact the biggest factor is your desire to get ahead. Real estate is a great area to begin but you can do it in almost anything.
