Short stories: True love

An angelic beautiful irresistible delicate woman, seated upon her elegantly exquisite goose-feathered handcrafted wooden royal throne while softly hugged by her extravagant royal garments in all of her stunning gorgeousness. Standing before her was an extremely long line of arrogantly selfish, though sophisticated, aristocrats and royals from all varieties of foreign cultures desperately hoping to be this enchantresses chosen suitor. They have come from distant kingdoms with sadistic false love for this precious princess hand in marriage, simply for their own personal recognition; attempting in persuading her father's mind with tremendous treasures and remarkable riches.

The lonesome love-sick saddened princess thoughtfully prayed to Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, within her mind: Oh my divine Goddess of Aphrodite, your magical spells of love that you mystically enchant others with passionate emotions into their hearts, you have seem to forgotten mine, please my great Goddess, cure my soul from this disease. Her praying cries were answered by a gentle saintly voice whispered within her mind: Doth not need to worry, for a man of truthful affection for the beauty of thine shall arrive, though with very little wealth, his gift is his adoring love. And with that, the intrigued princess excitedly anticipated the arrival of this mysterious stranger, however, her expression upon her face impressively understood that none of these refined gentlemen could be the man Aphrodite prophesized to wed the princess. So, she did not concern herself with the accompaniment of the heartless suitors. On the other hand, her father consumed with greed became more amazed at the treasures and wealth each gentlemen brought or offered for his daughters hand in marriage.

As the day gradually befallen into the gracefulness of night, the line of potential proper suitors was diminishing. The most promising participants stood together on the side, though they were not chosen by the princess, instead, by her father. He chose them because of the lavish gifts they have offered. Those aristocrats and royals whom weren't selected by the king nobly agreed to leave the palace, but as a kind gesture by the princesses' father they were escorted by female servants to enjoy the city of Athens.

"Well daughter, have thou made thy decision on whom thou wish to wed?" the king inquired.

"Sire, my greatest apologies, yet this gentleman here wishes to wed thy daughter." A servant introduced this
