People always shock me in the way they hide their real idea just to be polite or look better.

I thought that a survey was a way to get a clue about a common opinion, but as you can see here the common opinion is not the common life, many of us,in fact, are voting for long term relationships.

we prefer to write what we desire than what we really believe and experience in our everyday life.

Many people are voting for long term relationships ( ideal ) and in the meanwhile people divorce and cheat every day (fact).

Please, dont even mention marriage, that is only hypocrisy, that's only something you do because is "normal" to do.

People normally like to talk about the commitment in spending the whole life together, all nice words again ( ideal ), the truth is that people sign a contract about responsibility, money and property but if you are sure about your feelings and the person you are, you dont need a contract. If your choice is based only on love then take the risk dont marry and never call an attorney to get house, money and kids.

Personally i had both kinds of relationships and when i start one i dont think it will end shortly or not, i just live it and i dream a long love story but i also know that's not always the case and love cannot be a prison, cannot be a source of unhappiness, cannot a be a continuos fight so if things dont work out there is nothing wrong in stopping them and i know that is really difficult to do it but i think that many people survive to a bad situation just because they dont want to be alone and that's for me is equal to suicide.

I judge relationships on the exchange of good feelings, on the exchange of thoughts that can improve us as a person and as a couple.

I am probably too straight and the answer for me to this dilemma is : i'd like to have a long term relationship where things keep great as in a short term relationship.

In other words i dont choose before the kind of relationship i will have with my partner but i think that there is no doubt that the beginning of a relationship is always the best, short term relationship sounds to me as exciting and passionate

I dont think there is a real solution to this dilemma, unfortunately, in the meanwhile I pray to meet the girl of my life, a partner able to shock me, able to play, to laugh and to cry , to give space without letting me go too far.
