The "Power Juicer" is definitely one piece of machinery that lives up to it's name. You might be thinking that it is more of an appliance than a piece of machinery. However, the quality workmanship, and the voracity with which the juicer works is simply amazing! Jack Lalanne is indeed a true wonder in the fitness and nutrition world, and gave us an appliance that is most beneficial to keeping folks as healthy as him.
There are very few exceptions to what you can put through the Power Juicer, and only because they do not necessarily have 'juice'...such as bananas, or citrus peels, which are very bitter. Otherwise, the Power Juicer can be used any time you like, for whatever fruits and veggies appeal to you. The best part about the juicer is that you waste very little of the actual fruit or vegetable. You can include whole fruits like apples, even leaving the stem on! The pulp, seeds, and stem are simply spit out into the waste bin of the juicer. This way, the bulk of the nutrients are extracted and come out with the juice.
I personally feel that since I have started juicing, I feel a lot better overall. I have more energy, I rarely get sick, and I even sleep better at night. The only thing I can truly contribute this to would be the juice that I drink from the Power Juicer.
One of the tastiest combinations that I enjoy is simply apples and oranges. On occasion, I will add in a few grapes or strawberries when available. You can also make great smoothies by using the juice from the Power Juicer, adding some ice, and using your blender. I have used my juicer to even make frozen fruit drinks for my friends, and they always ask for more! I know it is because the juice you can make with the Power Juicer is 100% pure and super delicious!
The Power Juicer is easy to use and understand, as well as easy to clean. Mr. Lalanne understood the need to simplify in order to get people to love his product. Because of this, there are only 4 basic parts to take apart, and they are east to wash in soap and water. As well, there are no sharp edges, and no small parts to lose! All of these qualities encourage more frequent use of the appliance, instead of sticking it in the cupboard with all the other forgotten kitchen novelties.
In addition, the Power Juicer is a quality made product. All of the parts and pieces are higher quality, and less likely to break than the cheap imitators! The Power Juicer may be a bit pricier than other juicers on the market, but with this appliance, you truly get what you pay for!
