Boys are blessings that have the ability to turn a rather joyous peaceful moment into a panicky, stressful one, without prior notice and that's the beauty of it. They usually prefer to work in packs so if you are lucky enough to be blessed with more than one then you have hit a jackpot.

My joyful moment began the day I held the bundle of joys for the first time in my arms, the same day I also discovered that these bundles were a bundle of lot other things too, but my racing heartbeat and raging hormones were enough to cloud my judgment. So you see I was lucked out to give birth to two beautiful boys in one single day, a twin fun pack.

Once I was able to fall into what I would call a food and sleep deprived routine, these little guys were doing an excellent job in making sure that I was not allowed more than 5 minutes of mealtimes with an occasional 10 minutes of nap in a day.

Raising boys is bound to give birth to jealousy that arises from seeing their counterpart females sleeping peacefully, waking every 3-4 hours in the early period. Now this jealousy period will continue as your boy continues to grow and reaches his first birthday. Assuming you have reached a milestone and hoping for a break is a big mistake, now this little person will try to gain independence at any cost and if intervened the price is high accompanied with most embarrassing temper tantrums in public.

You will be humiliated at various outer settings especially if you have chosen a task like grocery shopping or just shopping. The old jealousy which was lost due to your overall life changing event will reappear when you'll see girls of their age playing quietly in the cart or strolling beside their mother while nothing seems to calm your chaotic circumstances, your constant chase from one aisle to the next has definitely raised some eyebrows and comments. Try to ignore the comments like "aww twin boys or boys you must have your hand full", while trying to keep your hands to yourself at all times.

Next comes the banging and yelling age with stunt acts such as jumping, climbing from almost anything to everything. During this same period disappearing remotes will become a mystery and other objects are still a mystery to this day. Wall art is a common way of their expression which is incomprehensible in any form of language and art. And your missing cosmetics and kitchen utensils which may be much later rediscovered in their Tonka tow truck or other hideouts.
