Choosing a suitable hairstyle for your wedding

a thing for long hair. Well my mom was excited, it was the day before her wedding and she wasn't paying attention to what the hairdresser was doing. And, boy did my mom regret that! The damn hairdresser cut off all of her hair! She didn't make her bald, but she might as well have! My mom went from having gorgeous long hair to a short boy cut, the day before her wedding! My mom picked her veil to match her long hair and now she was going to look stupid with this short haircut and very long cathedral veil. Although, to me she looked beautiful. I saw her pictures and didn't think anything of it. It wasn't until she tells her story that you understand why she doesn't look beautiful to herself in the photos. Which is why it is so important to feel gorgeous on your big day, or else you never will be able to look back and see how fabulous you were. Instead, you will look back and remember how you felt and still feel miserable about it. My mom made the mistake of altering her hair the day before her wedding. If you want to color or cut your hair for your wedding, do not wait until the last minute to do so. It is very important to color and/or cut a month or so before the wedding. The reason being is that in case you do not like your haircut or hair color, you have time to fix it. However, if you do it the day before, you have no time to fix anything. Instead, you have to deal with it and you risk being miserable on your wedding day, which leads to miserable thoughts when you reflect back on your wedding day.

There are numerous options to consider when choosing the hairstyle for you wedding day. First, research wedding hairstyles. Use the internet, bridal magazines, etc. It's important to consider your own hair, your headpiece, veil and dress. Will your hair look better up, down, or half up? Do you like your hair up or down? Do you want to dye your hair or add highlights? After you have figured out what you want to do with your hair, schedule a hair trial with your hairstylist. This is so important to ensure that you are happy with your hairdo on your wedding day and that it matches your headpiece and veil. Let's face it, you can pick a hairstyle that looks great on the model in the picture but doesn't suit you or your accessories. The only way to know for sure is to practice because practice really does make perfect. And perfection is key when it comes to your wedding day. Lastly, do not do anything signifacantly different to your hair, such as a haircut or adding highlights less than one month of your wedding day. If you have less than one month, leave it be or else you will have to deal with a bad haircut or a bad hair color and you might not be able to fix it in time. It might sound a bit time consuming and expensive, but weddings are just that! And in the end all the time and money becomes worth it because looking drop dead gorgeous on your wedding day is priceless!
