Plane Frustration
Watching down the center aisle
You know who its going to be
The sweaty pits stain like a smile
He points to the window and says that's me
Sandwiched in the center seat
The aisle lady chatts without missing a beat
The armrest battle ends
As the plane starts to rattle
Movement for a moment
Away from the gate
My external torment
As we sit in the cue and wait
On the runway we sit
Snow is starting to fall
As it snows harder I say "oh shit"
I go ahead and make the call
Nineteen planes ahead to go
We'll never make it
Before they close the runway
Due to snow
Back to the terminal
The drive home in sorrow
knowing I'll have to do it all again
Tomorrow
