There are quite a few romantic movies out there that tug at my heart strings, but I've like to mention a few in no particular order:

-Amelie - French subtitled movie about a girl who meets the love of her life though she's kind of busy trying to save the world as well

-Somewhere in Time - the classic starring Christopher Reeve

-I.Q. - This movie features a bunch of scientists including Albert Einstein playing matchmaker. How could it possibly go wrong?

-The Wedding Planner - This is pure saccharine and very funny, and I'm not even that much of a Jennifer Lopez fan.

-French Kiss - Kevin Kline is hilarious and Meg Ryan is still in her "It's-okay-to-be-cute" phase in this great comedy.

-Kate & Leopold - One of my favorites, this one (like, incidentally, Somewhere in Time) uses time travel to tell a story of timeless love.

-The Cutting Edge - It's the predictable hate-love formula, but on ice. :)

-Dream a Little Dream - This one is an 80s classics starring Jason Robards and the two Coreys (Corey Haim and Corey Feldman) at their best.

-Sense and Sensability - The Emma Thompson/Hugh Grant/Kate Winslet version is one of the ultimate tearjerkers.

-Groundhog's Day - Love. Over and over and over again.
