Batman is a sensational movie, that leaves the audience spellbound. I have watched Batman from the very beginning, whether it be
cartoons, the older versions of Batman which starred Adam West. I attended a comic book show in Orlando, Fl, several years ago
and had the wonderful pleasure of meeting Adam West. I saw him being flocked at his table by admirers and I did not care how long
it would take me, or how tired I would get from standing, I had to meet my hero. When I finally got my chance to meet him, he
asked me, what I did for a living, I excitedly told him I was a store manager for a non-profit organization. I nervously asked him
could I take a picture with him, after he signed 2 pictures for me. As I stood next to him, with my Batman dress on, he pointed to me
as I told him I have watched every episode of Batman. That day, was a dream for me, as I got to meet the best actor for playing
Batman.
Years have come and passed, and I must admit, when they started the Batman movies in theaters, I was deeply offended, due
to the fact, that Batman ( Adam West), was not asked to play the leading role. Sure, I knew he had aged, but, Let's respect
the man, in giving us a cool portrayal of Bruce Wayne. When the first Batman hit the movie screen, I was totally against his
acting, as well as the look for Batman. However, when Batman was released last year, I was flabbergasted and in awe of the
performance of Mr. Bale. An absolutely magnificent performance was given by he and the entire cast. I stand in ovation with
everyone else for giving Keith Ledger his props. He played the joker so well, that I actually believed that I had encountered
a real live joker. Every actor and actress, every scene left me wanting more. Batman was so well written and kept me on the
edge of me seat. I eagerly await the next one, and I was astounded to see Batman break all type of records. I watch the
internet weekly to see if the movie has hit the billion mark as of yet. In the role of the Joker, I can not even compare
Jack to Keith. It would be hands down, no doubt about it, the winner without hesitation, Keith Ledger, who left you
wondering why did he leave this world at the top of his game? He presented to the fans a taste of derangement, that
took the character of the Joker to a different level. Batman, is on a platform all by himself as he can not be touched by
any other actor. Two faced, had such a real look about him, I had to turn away, for fear. The movie overall is a masterpiece,
but, of course that is what I expected when you put together the best. Morgan Freeman, as always, gives you a excellent
performance. I do like Katie Holmes, as a better actress, and the Commissioner Gordon, is 110% at his best. This movie
is #1, in my book, as I remain a true fan of Batman
