By passing and over looking a great deal on purchasing a car in these economically stressful times, could for some end up being even more stressful. The idea of dealing with car dealers who take advantage of potiental buyers should not be a deterent. The fact that most people don't purchase american cars can put a bit of a damper on some car dealerships,but also opens doors to other means of automobile buying and selling. During this time of repressed spending by the consumer, there are also good and fair deals in buying second and in some cases even third owner cars. This of course depends more largly on "who" you purchase your car from, then "where". Since the recent decline in gas prices,people are moving around more using their cars as the main mode of transportation. Now they are looking to purchase cars with larger engines or smaller gas tanks. These consumers are looking for the smarter way to get the most out of a car deal and spend less money. Looking into the purchase of the original automobils like: oldsmobils, pontiacs, fords and other old school brands of cars is not only a wise choice, but it could be a most rewarding one as well. In times of so much turmoil and trouble on the economical front, theres nothing more comforting then returning to the old sturdy and familiar mode of transportation. Its like returning to the security of mother's arms. The bartering system may also become some what of a trend in these economically outrageous times and not a bad idea for dealers or buyers. It is still an honorable method in covering unpaid debts and financial obligations. Another method that could save consumers hundreds, even thousands of dollars in some cases would be to go out and inspect prospective car deals first hand, now with the decline of gas prices. The internet is and will always be a wonderful avenue for researching cars, dealers and their track records. Its even a great way to get a glimps of whats being offered and sold. However, there's nothing more reasuring or gratifiying then well researched car purchases and first hand eye to product inspection. It puts people "back in the drivers seat"and equals out the equation which prompts people to at least deal more honestly with one another. The combination of both internet and person to person deals, using ebay as a means for buying and selling benefits everyone in the end. With websites like ebay's accessability and the google engine that can take you to hundreds of other car dealing sites,
