There are a lot of people out there that do not believe in the "effects" of Second Hand Smoke. Some may even think its a conspiracy to get smokers away from non-smokers. I can tell you this... that every word of the dangers are true.

I, for one, am one of those victims. My father never stopped smoking or even moved outside. Instead, I sit beside him as he smokes away and the smoke encircles my head. I ask my father to stop or at least go outside, but no, he is stubborn.

I've been surrounded in Second Hand Smoke since I was a baby. Due to this unfortunate circumstance I have always had breathing problems. When I was a child I was forced to use an inhaler. What a site it must have been to see me run around and then fall to the ground because I couldn't breathe. Oh yes, keep smoking, I'm sure that will help me even more *sarcasm*.

Even today, as an adult, I am surrounded in smoke. I may be off an inhaler, but my lungs aren't healed in anyway. I'm susceptible to grass and seasonal allergies that leave me gasping for air. Even heat bothers my lungs. I wonder if I'll be destroyed by lung cancer when I get older. Only time will tell.

Please, if you smoke, do not allow others to become victims of your choices.
