Product Review: Wishbone Salad Spritzers
Flavors
Wishbone Salad Spritzers are a wonderful product for anyone looking to decrease calories, without eliminating taste. They come in a variety of flavors: Balsamic Breeze, Italian Vinaigrette, Red Wine Mist, Caesar Delight, French Flair, Raspberry Bliss, and Asian Silk. The design of Wish Bone Salad Spritzers is what makes the product so wonderful.
Design
A little spray pump allows full coverage of salads, without dousing vegetables in a thick heavy coating of dressing. Everyone can relate to eating a little salad with their dressing from time to time. Wishbone Salad Spritzers eliminates this challenge, while lightly misting fresh vegetables in a deliciously flavored accent.
Unique Taste Complements Meals
Wishbone Salad Spritzers overall have a light taste. Each flavor is unique, being true to the one listed on the label. Balsamic Breeze seems to be the heartiest. I prefer to use this flavor when eating red meat. Sometimes I even add a little Parmesan cheese to my salad when using Balsamic Breeze. Italian Vinaigrette is light, perfect for using when having salad as a side dish to pizza. Red Wine Mist is a bit more tart than Italian, but not quite as hearty as Balsamic Breeze. I prefer this flavor on my salad when having pasta and garlic bread. Asian Silk is smooth, with a hint of oriental spices and flavors. It goes great with fish and oriental food.
Additional Benefits
Of course, sometimes I enjoy eating a salad by itself. Caesar Delight, and French Flair are perfect any time. Yet, by far, hands down, I must applaud Raspberry Bliss. I enjoy this flavor of Wish Bone Salad Spritzers most of all. The light flavor, that gives me just a bit of sweetness, allows me to indulge my sweet tooth while eating salad. It has helped me choose salad over sweets, and focus on my goal of losing weight. Granted, I use a few extra sprays when my cravings are really getting the best of me. Still it is better than indulging in a cookie.
Calorie and Fat Content
Wishbone Salad Spritzers contain very little fat, if any, depending on the flavor. They have only 1 calorie per spray, with a recommended serving size of 10 sprays. That means that even if you want to douse your salad, you probably will not eat more than 20 to 30 calories in your dressing. This is phenomenally less than if you use regular salad dressing.
Alternative Uses
Wishbone Salad Spritzers are great for salads, but they are also a great way to enhance flavor in other foods too. Asian Silk can be used instead of marinating meat or fish. Balsamic Breeze can be sprayed on fish and chips. Italian Vinaigrette and French Flair can be used on vegetables instead of butter. Raspberry Bliss adds extra flavor to an ordinary fruit tray.
Wishbone Salad Spritzers make life a little easier on the average dieter. Dieting is difficult, even when you're using common sense. Wishbone Salad Spritzers take the work out of choosing a salad dressing, and then trying not to use too much. They are a perfect choice for anyone trying to lose weight.
