Weary
It is not that I feel overwhelmed
by this or that particular problem.
People feel overwhelmed by problems
all the time ... and deal with them.
They move on with their lives.
What magnificent strength!
No, I am not tired of dealing with problems.
I am weary of wrestling with the emotional experience
of feeling overwhelmed.
I can overcome problems.
I cannot escape emotions.
They just keep coming,
relentlessly, up from the abyss
and I am worn out.
