-Global Warring-
Fire and destruction fill the world tonight,
The carnage can be seen through the flickers of light
No one ever saw the end was near,
But now they reflect on what they held most dear
Never have things changed so quickly
Never was humanity altered so swiftly
A distant flash can be seen by all
For one, for many, it's reality's call
Snatched from a dreamworld the victims are stunned,
Their unswerving aggressors are globally shunned
The world responds with deadly force,
Wishing revenge, pain, and bloodshed of course
Man's natural want is safety from his fellow man,
But when this is deemed impossible, is replaced by brutal vengeance
When loved ones are hurt, emotions run wild
Humanity itself is not for the mild
Many question if such conflicts can ever be quelled
Will a shark remain passive if the blood of prey is smelled?
It is man's nature to to attack, destroy, and conquer

And so suppressed

Whisper
My heart has whispered your name,
In a place where no one can hear.
The sound of it quieter than air,
Is lifted away
Trusted instincts
Where are you now?
Me dangling by a thread
Darkness fills
The crack in my skull
Bleeding:
Sounds like water
