The truth about love is that it's from above
and floats around all the time every day.
The world's greatest gift to you is love
for it remains constant come what may.

The truth about love is that it is multi dimensional
and has many facets like a pure diamond.
The truth about love is that it is truly sensational
and it is rare so when you feel it don't waste a second.

Love, love, love, love, it is in your heart waiting
to be discovered by your soul mate out there,
and once you are united and you are dating
it may lead to marriage where love has not a care.

Oh, love your beauty just comes ringing through
like warm rays of the sun we feel your energy,
and we are in your palm waiting for you
to show us mere mortals your sweet liturgy

You know love the truth about you is truth,
for you are pure and straight and clean
and being an Aussie I say 'gee whizz struth'
love is so nice to know, cos it ain't mean.

People get hurt by love that's the flipside
because it is so strong and real and true.
But love will take you on a great ride
and never never leave you blue

So if you've found true love then treasure it
for tis the greatest gift out there free,
and if it really don't cost a bit
then try it out and you will truly see.
