Beautifying a bathroom on a budget is actually alot easier than it sounds, and lots of simple decoration ideas won't break the bank. The key to making your "loo location" lovely is to take advantage of its sleek simplicity, and turn it into your stress-free and relaxing sanctuary.
*Clear out the clutter. Bathrooms tend to be messy and contain all of our appliances, cosmetics and our many body lotions and skin potions. Cluttered bathrooms aren't charming, so conceal all of your beauty tools, medications, and personal effects and showcase your clean countertops and cabinets instead of burying them.
*Use neat, bathroom accessory accents. Pick creative, color-coordinated dispensers, tumblers, toothbrush holders, soap dishes and waste baskets that match your bathroom's colors and show off your bathroom's amenities.
*Hang nice, decorative towels. On your most prominent towel rack, hang up a decorative towel, leaving smaller, every day hand towels on your smaller towel rack closer to the sink.
*Change your bathroom lighting. Bright lights illuminate flaws, cracks and dirt, so switch to the warm, soft glow of low wattage bulbs to make the bathroom beckoning and conserve energy.
*Buy a multi-tier bathroom rack. A nice decorative piece, you can hang some extra towels, pampering products, scented candles and magazines to make your bathroom look and feel soft, spa-like and intimate.
*Match your shower curtain. It doesn't have to be too expensive, but you should try and match and compliment your bathroom's shower scheme. Hang a chrome or black caddy inside your shower or bath, to organize your bath products in a user friendly and stylish manner. Rice paper shower curtains, subtly sophisticated curtains made of vinyl that look like rice paper are one new, trendy and versatile type of shower curtain.
*Get a fuzzy or comfy toilet seat cover. Toilet covers are decorative, comfortable and help prevent the seat from getting dirty.
*Hang up your bathrobes. Believe it or not, hanging a couple of bathrobes on some stylishly shaped decorative hooks can enhance your bathroom's intimate environment.
*Sponge paint the walls with neutral, earthy colors. If you want to change your bathroom's color completely, the blended effect of several matching colors looks sleek and stylish.
*Freshen up the air. Keep bathroom air delicately scented with botanical and natural air fresheners. Better yet, go for a feng shui type of theme and place a small bamboo plant near your windowsill or by your bathtub.
*Replace the faucets and showerheads. Not only can you pick a more modern design, you can also get eco-friendly, lower pressure faucets and showerheads and conserve water.
